NOTE: It MIGHT be news OR might NOT be news....It's just what I'm up to or thinking at the moment...

Piper, from Doneski....

Now I need to find an awesome frame...or make one.

7.9.10
Trend Mash-Up

Here's a shot of my 2' x 4' gesso transfer in progress. I digitally composited a 1920's fashion model with an 1980's boom box. You can still see the white blotches of paper that I haven't rubbed off yet.

Sunday! Sunday! Sunday!

If you threw this away, you're throwing part of me away. My first sunday P&G insert.

5.16.10
Oh Rats!

I started to added some rats to the Pied Piper scene I'm creating. Using calligraphy pens brought the unshapely creatures to life.

5.9.10
Trany.

So, I'm going old school with transferring images. I got inspired by my buddy Rob and a book I bought. I'm using gesso, soft gel mediums and toner or inkjet images. Hopefully it all works out. I love how the texture and image come to life as you work with it.....

4.30.10
Trip.

Em and I went to Oregon this weekend for baby showers.

4.23.10
Squatting In Public.

Public seating can be sketchy. But if it looks cool, then the butt stank and sweat absorbed fabric takes a back seat.

4.12.10
Dark vs. LIght.

Parking garages are pretty erie: dark, cold and hard. It was refreshing to see a tree with bright green ivy in the middle of this dungeon stretching up for light.

...Or the tree could be saying, "my mother is powerful...", while a creepy guy standing on the upper deck is telling the tree to "put the lotion in the basket!"

There's just so much to read into here....

3.28.10
Cool Dusty Box.

 /  (1 of 2)

I found this box in my attic. It was for the original siding for my house made by Shakerstown. The color was bright green. I think it's from the mid 50's. I love the layout of it.

I also wanted to see the evolution of the the brand, so I looked up the company logo...I must say I like the original (top) a lot more.

3.25.10
Patch Project.

Patchy test. I think I'm going to work with patches for awhile. Iron on ones that can be put on shirts, or what ever.

3.6.10
MGM Work.

Just got word that the Guys and Dolls key art and trailer that I worked on is up on iTunes.

2.20.10
Snoop-Jobby Job.

I got a new job at The Integer Group.

2.15.10
Secret Screening.

Here's my mobile printing unit. I attached a light under my print area to burn my screens. Under the black bottom is where is store my paint. Pretty ghetto, but so far so good.

My pine beetle awareness shirt, "Fuck the Beetles"
Still trying to get my ink to go threw smoothly. Opaque inks a give me a hard time.

I Quit My Job.

While hanging out at the Boulder office for almost 4 years, I called it quits. Here's a pic of some of the Greenhouse Partners crew. Once I switched on the fiber optic light, my disheveled desk became kinda cool.

2.6.10
Dever Dining.

Last night Pete Curtis led us to a awesome burger joint in denver called Park Burger. Besides the awesome food they had a cool painting of cows.

2.5.10
